The right candidate for this position is an effective multi-tasker and has strong communication, organizational and time- management skills. We need people who can review and maintain our current accounting principles practices, procedures and initiatives as well as handle all general bookkeeping functions including preparing financial statements

Essential Function Overview:

  • Assist with month end close, prepare journal entries, financial reports, and reconciliations
  • Assist with annual audit and provide back up to AP and AR as needed
  • Maintain fixed assets, manage intercompany transactions
  • Analyzes and prepares accurate and timely project budgets
  • Oversee employees in finance department
  • Performs other duties as assigned
Educational/Experience:
  • Degree in Accounting/Finance/Business or equivalent work experience
  • Experience with Medicaid or Medicare
  • Experience with Insurance Billing
  • 2-3 years of experience in a general accounting role
