Account Director- AWS Ecosystem Austin, TX / US - OTE

for this role is $250K-$350K

The Account Director- AWS will be directly responsible for growing VeUps footprint in the North American Start-up ecosystem. Reliably driving growth and deepening relationships, you naturally connect with the founder’s experience and will see strategies to optimize their AWS experience. Speaking their language, you know what makes these founders tick. And wearing a consultative hat your ability to navigate the AWS organizational chart will prove to be an enormous asset to VeUp and out clients alike.

Key Responsibilities

Relationship Management with AWS:

Liase between VeUP and AWS sellers/management, nurturing and strengthening the relationship to drive mutual business objectives. Collaborate closely with AWS counterparts to explore joint opportunities, align on go-to-market strategies, and optimize partnership outcomes.

Startup Customer Acquisition:

Drive the acquisition of startup customers by understanding their needs, pain points, and goals. Develop tailored solutions and value propositions to effectively address their requirements and establish VeUP as a preferred partner.

Market Analysis and Opportunity Identification:

Conduct thorough market analysis to identify emerging trends, competitive landscape, and potential opportunities within the startup sector. Utilize insights to develop targeted strategies for customer acquisition and revenue growth.

Solution Development and Positioning : Work closely with cross-functional teams to develop innovative solutions and offerings tailored to the needs of startup customers. Ensure clear articulation of value proposition and differentiation in the market, positioning VeUP as a preferred partner for startups seeking scalable and reliable solutions.

Sales Pipeline Management:

Manage the end-to-end sales pipeline for startup customers, from lead generation and qualification to negotiation and closure. Implement effective sales strategies and tactics to accelerate deal velocity and drive revenue growth.

Customer Success and Retention:

Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless onboarding and deployment of solutions for startup customers. Proactively engage with customers post-sale to drive adoption, satisfaction, and long-term retention.

The successful candidate will have deep Experience working within digitally native businesses and/or AWS and/or AWS partners with an understanding of the challenges start-up founders will face throughout their journey. With a track record of quota achievement in outbound sales or prospecting within B2B environments they will have demonstrated their Proficiency in building and managing customer relationships. Eagerness to learn new skills and technologies to adapt and thrive in a dynamic industry will be a cornerstone trait of who this candidate is.
