Day-to-Day: An enterprise insurance employer is looking for Senior Manager of Tax Compliance to join their accounting department. Responsibilities will include: · Managing one staff accountant and one senior accountant. · Create and implement tax plans. · Work with the accounting teams to identify opportunities for process improvement and potential areas of risk. · Ensure compliance with state, federal, and local tax laws. · Stay up to date with current and impending changes to tax regulation and make the appropriate changes to affected policies. Optimize reporting procedures, prepare monthly tax estimates, and make quarterly payments to IRS.
