Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop comprehensive PLC-controlled baggage handling systems, including hardware selection, PLC programming, and integration.
  • Configure and program managed switches, including VLAN setup, port access control, security patching, redundancy implementation, and performance monitoring.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues with integrated systems promptly and systematically.
  • Provide technical support and assistance to field engineers during system installation and commissioning.
  • Document and maintain detailed records of PLC programs and system configurations.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies in PLC programming and automation.

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in PLC programming
  • Proficiency in HMI/SCADA systems and programming
  • Proven experience designing and implementing automation systems
  • Proficiency with Ladder Logic programming a plus
  • Experience with Siemens products and toolsets a plus
  • Ability to travel up to 50% to client sites for system installations and support
  • US citizenship and the ability to obtain SSI level clearance is required
  • Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field
