Job Summary
CoolSys is seeking a dynamic and experienced Business Intelligence Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading our business intelligence initiatives, leveraging data analytics to drive strategic decision-making and enhance operational efficiency. As the Business Intelligence Manager, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement data-driven solutions that support our business objectives.
Responsibilities:- Develop Business Intelligence Strategy: Define and execute a comprehensive business intelligence strategy aligned with CoolSys' goals and objectives.
- Data Analysis and Visualization: Utilize advanced analytics techniques to extract insights from complex datasets and present findings through interactive visualizations and reports.
- Performance Monitoring: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and dashboards to monitor business performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Data Governance: Implement data governance policies and procedures to ensure the accuracy, consistency, and security of data assets.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with stakeholders across departments to understand business requirements and translate them into actionable insights and solutions.
- Forecasting and Predictive Analytics: Develop forecasting models and predictive analytics to support strategic planning and decision-making processes.
- Database Administration and Development: Oversee database administration tasks including database design, optimization, maintenance, and performance tuning. Develop and maintain ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to ensure the integrity and reliability of data.
- Technology Evaluation and Implementation: Stay abreast of emerging trends and technologies in business intelligence and data analytics and assess their potential to drive innovation and efficiency within CoolSys.
- Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of business intelligence analysts, providing guidance and support to foster professional growth and development.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in business administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
- Proven experience in business intelligence, data analytics, with at least 5 years of relevant experience of which 3 years should be in a leadership role.
- Expertise in SQL and database management systems, with experience in database administration and development.
- Strong proficiency in data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Qlik.
- Experience with statistical analysis and predictive modeling techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities, with experience leading and managing cross-functional teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
