Job Details:
We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Permanent Patient Care Coordinator to join our team in the Manufacturing industry. This role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth operation of our healthcare services within the organization. The successful candidate will be the frontline of our healthcare team, providing top-notch support to our patients and staff, maintaining a high level of professionalism, empathy, and efficiency. This is a full-time, permanent position that requires 5+ years of experience in a similar role.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all patient-related matters, ensuring a high level of customer service and patient satisfaction.
- Coordinate patient care services, including scheduling appointments, managing patient records, and facilitating communication between patients and healthcare providers.
- Manage front desk operations, including greeting patients, answering phone calls, and handling patient inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Facilitate patient education, providing information and resources to help patients understand their health conditions and treatment options.
- Coordinate with insurance companies to verify coverage, process claims, and resolve any billing issues.
- Participate in ongoing training and development activities to stay updated on the latest trends and best practices in patient care coordination.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a patient care coordination role, preferably within the manufacturing industry.
- Proven experience in front desk operations, including handling patient inquiries, scheduling appointments, and managing patient records.
- Exceptional customer service skills, with a strong ability to empathize with and support patients.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with patients, healthcare providers, and insurance companies.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in using healthcare management systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Knowledge of healthcare regulations and standards.
- Ability to handle sensitive patient information with discretion and in compliance with privacy laws and regulations.
- Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, nursing, or a related field is preferred.
