Western Montana Mental Health Center's Director of Finance oversees the financial operations of the company, including budgeting, planning, and investing, in alignment with the organization's mission and values. Responsibilities include developing financial tools, analyzing data for forecasting, preparing budgets, ensuring compliance with accounting principles and audit requirements, and overseeing financial reporting. The Director will also manage fixed assets, coordinate audits, and contribute to quality improvement outcomes. Additionally, they will collaborate with HR on compensation strategies and represent the organization to financial partners.

The Director of Finance has a solid understanding of the relationship between healthcare finance and operations in a complex and constantly evolving healthcare environment.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Graduation from an accredited college with a Bachelor's Degree in Business, Accounting/Finance, or a related discipline is required; a Master's Degree is preferred.
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is preferred.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of broad finance experience and supervisory/leadership experience.
  • Ability to pass a background check upon offer of employment
  • Valid current driver's license with good driving record.
