As a Senior Supply Planner, you will develop production and distribution plans. This will be critical as you maintain the optimal divisional / location inventory levels on the Pop-Tarts Brand. You’ll also solve for product shortages and collaborate with supply chain partners to drive results. The role will be based out of Battle Creek, MI and will work in a flexible, hybrid model with weekly in-office days. This position offers a unique opportunity to leverage your expertise in inventory planning and supply chain management. We will look to you to manage production and inventory levels in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. A Taste of What You’ll Be Doing + Set the Pace – The Senior Supply Planner creates short term production schedules across assigned Kellanova facilities. You will also monitor the age of products to minimize write-offs, institute steps to rectify problems, and perform capacity analyses. + Fresh Thinking – You will be managing production and inventory to balance capacity constraints, ensuring adherence to service and inventory targets. In addition, you will also resolve critical product shortage issues and communicating exceptions. + Tools for Success – You will be maintaining planning system parameters (e.g., location of safety stock, economic production quantities, minimum run quantities, transit times, process capacity, packing capacity, shipping constraints, inventory constraints). + People Leadership – This position will l ead and mentor a team of 3 Redeployment Analysts. Fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous learning, you will drive team performance and professional development. Your Recipe for Success + College Degree and consistently demonstrated related work experience. + Experience working with Planning software, SAP/SNP or similar tools. + Understanding of the supply/demand planning business drivers, organization structures and key metrics. + Proficiency working with SAP or similar database application technology. + Excellent proficiency using Microsoft Excel or similar software. + Very strong communication skills are essential, and expertise in Microsoft Excel and data manipulation are also critical. + APICS Certification is a bonus.
