Lockheed Martin's Missiles & Fire Control, SOF GLSS contract provides logistics and sustainment supporting multiple programs and platforms. We are seeking an entry-level supply chain/acquisition professional to join our Global Supply Chain team in Lexington, KY.
Duties include but are not limited to:
Conduct research regarding suppliers
Prepare Request for Quotes
Analyze supplier data
Conduct basic negotiations for best value, delivery schedule, and Terms and Conditions
Create purchase order folders and issue Purchase Orders
Support reviews and Bill of Material accuracy
Basic Qualifications:
Ability to conduct data analysis or research and/or understanding of negotiations
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Demonstrated critical thinking / problem-solving abilities
Ability to work independently and within a team structure
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of products
Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment
Strong organizational skills
Desired Skills:
Procurement or Acquisition Experience
Working knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations (DFAR)
