Grower Accounting Manager

Job Description:

We are looking for a meticulous and experienced Grower Accounting Manager to oversee all financial aspects related to our grower partnerships. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of accounting principles, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to effectively communicate with growers and internal stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

Manage all financial transactions and processes related to grower accounts, including but not limited to invoicing, payments, and reconciliations.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with growers, providing financial guidance and support as needed.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and timely recording of grower-related transactions in the accounting system.
Analyze grower contracts, agreements, and pricing structures to ensure compliance and accuracy in financial reporting.
Prepare and present regular financial reports and analyses to management, highlighting key insights and performance metrics related to grower accounts.
Collaborate with the procurement team to forecast grower payments and expenses, ensuring alignment with budgetary goals.
Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard grower-related assets and mitigate financial risks.
Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to grower accounting and recommend process improvements as needed.
Lead, mentor, and develop a team of accounting professionals responsible for grower accounts, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous learning.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA or CMA certification preferred.
