Venatôre is seeking a Data Scientistto work in our MacDill AFB, FL location.

Job Description:The successful candidate will have subject matter expertise in data science within Military, Federal, or Intelligence organizations with demonstratable history of designing, developing, and maintaining data architectures and data visualization tools. Must have the ability to gather, analyze, model, and interpret large sets of structured and unstructured data to discover solutions to improve data exploitation. Must be able to apply artificial intelligence and machine learning to operational data.

Responsibilities:

Supports all operational data requirements for HQ USCENTCOM Operations Directorate.Provides oversight and monitors performance of Data Management contractor team.Candidate must be able to interact professionally and successfully with Government operational representatives.Candidate must have excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate highly technical information to a broad, operational audience.Required Skills:

Must be a US CitizenActive TS clearance and SCI eligibility; be able to securely handle/safeguard classified informationBA/BS or MA/MS in Data Science/Analytics, Computer Sciences, Information Technology, or related fields5 - 10 years of relevant work experienceExperience capturing, implementing, and managing data science requirements for senior Military, Federal Government, and/or Intelligence staffExperience with data normalization, mining/aggregation, and visualizationExperience with operational dashboard design, development, and useExperience with ESRI ArcGIS technologies, including ArcGIS Server, ArcSDE, and ArcGIS Model BuilderExperience implementing artificial intelligence and machine learning technical solutionsHighly experienced with Microsoft Office O365 products; excellent writing/briefing skillsMust be available for travel to both domestic and international locations (CENTCOM AOR); no combat zone travel is authorized on this contractAbility to be integrated into a dynamic, high visibility, fast-paced work environmentMust be able to manage and prioritize multiple projects and tasks simultaneously in support of tactical, operational, and strategic data science requirementsDemonstratable experience using Python and/or R to automate GIS and non-GIS tasksDesire to continuously up-skill portfolio based on emerging technological advancesDesired Skills:

MA/MS in Data Science/Analytics, Computer Sciences, Information Technology, or related fieldsMinimum five years’ experience using Python to automate GIS and non-GIS tasksExperience with / knowledge of databases (TSQL, MySQL, Oracle, PostGres, etc.)
