Position Summary:

Motivated individual that has the important responsibility of being the main point of contact for all member related questions, requests, and concerns. Dedicated to finding financial solutions that meet FCU member's needs. Conduct these activities in accordance with Credit Union policies, goals and objectives established by the branch manager.

Responsibilities:
  • Conducting loan interviews and obtaining previous credit history of member, as well as other pertinent data that could be used later.
  • Establishes loans considering such factors as member's assets, liabilities, credit experience, and references based on FCU loan procedures.
  • Discussing loan alternatives, credit criteria, interest rates, and loan documentation in such a manner as to elicit a positive response from the member.
  • Cross-selling credit union services; providing information regarding services and some counseling as necessary.
  • Processing membership and/or checking applications, certificates, IRA's, payroll, direct deposit, home banking, bill pay, etc.
  • Answering customer questions, investigating, and correcting errors following member and credit union records.
  • Compliance with OFAC, and the Bank Secrecy Act.
Qualification Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree and three to four years' related experience and/or training.
  • Any equivalent combination of education and experience.
