Description

The LMS/LCMS Administrator is responsible for the technical implementation and administration of the Learning Content Management System (LCMS) and Learning Management System (LMS) software applications used by the Kirtland, Davis-Monthan, Andrews, and Moody (KDAM) Aircrew Training and Rehearsal Support (ATARS) contract. Provides LMS and LCMS support for Instructional Systems Design (ISD), courseware and curriculum development, and integrated training solution proposals in support of the KDAM ATARS contract. The LMS Administrator will follow the ISD department process in the delivery of ISD material for proposal and program execution purposes. Provides LCMS/LMS and curriculum support for all stakeholders to include subcontractors, external sites, instructors, Program Managers, and students in support of the KDAM ATARS contract.

  • Perform LMS and LCMS functions which include monitoring course content, course approvals ensuring processes are completed within given timeframes.
  • Create/publish/archive online/instructor-led and computer aided courses in the LMS.
  • Create and assign training curricula, adds/deletes resources, monitor employee, PM and COR accounts, resets passwords, and maintain LMS and LCMS system parameters.
  • Provide daily assistance to CLC Staff and stakeholders experiencing LMS issues.
  • Provide LMS and LCMS expertise during proposal generation process.
  • Provide and coordinate system maintenance which includes upgrades and updates, configuration, troubleshooting, debugging, and user access testing for all Learning Applications, including LMS, LCMS, and other systems.
  • Command a clear understanding of all requirements for assigned projects.
  • Coordinate and establish work priorities and if necessary, recommend shifts in workloads and assignments to meet emergencies or critical deadlines.
  • Accurately track new, deleted, and revised items in the LMS and LCMS systems.
  • Responsible for accurately reporting and documenting LMS and LCMS system bugs and issues using various ticketing systems.
  • Responsible for staying current on LMS and LCMS system through communities, networking, researching process procedures, best practices, and available resources for maximizing the capabilities of the LMS/LCMS and System Information Security (SIS) systems.
  • Collaborate with Information System personnel to create custom reports for stakeholders within the LMS.
  • Provide training to KDAM staff, on various KDAM contract learning applications.
  • Support of R&D activities related to assigned projects.
Requirements
  • Must be able to obtain and hold a Secret US Government Clearance with SCI eligibility. Note: US Citizenship is required to maintain a Secret clearance.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Business Systems Analysis, or related degree, or equivalent combination of education, experience, and training.
  • Three (3+) years of experience in a related field.
  • Ability to interface effectively with customers and staff.
  • Working knowledge of military standards.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite of applications.
  • Preferred Qualifications:
  • Foundational understanding and experience in media development, publishing, content management and Learning Management System (LMS) administration using tools such as Articulate, Captivate, and Blackboard.
  • Experience in monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of training programs to lead continuous improvement efforts, ensuring that training program achieve organizational training objectives.
  • Prior experience developing and designing training and education products and solutions for the DoD/Federal government.
