Responsibilities:

Summary

The Receptionist's duties include offering administrative support across the organization by performing the following duties.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities for the Receptionist

  • Answer, screen and forward incoming phone calls.
  • Receive, sort and distribute daily mail/deliveries
  • Greet and welcome guests as soon as they arrive at the office
  • Direct visitors to the appropriate person and office.
  • Provide basic and accurate information in-person and via phone/email.
  • Handle outgoing mail.
  • Download documents from vendor websites and send to appropriate individuals.
  • Perform otherduties such as filing, photocopying and faxing.
  • Performs other related duties and tasks as necessary or as assigned.
  • Order front office supplies and keep inventory of stock.
  • Ensure reception area is tidy and presentable.
Requirements
  • Must be bilingual - English and Spanish - they will be providing translation for customers over the phone and in person.
  • Minimum 1-2 years of administrative experience.
  • Excellent customer service experience in person and over the phone.
  • Good oral and written communication skills to articulate key information.
  • Self-motivated and able to handle multiple tasks with minimal guidance in order to meet deadlines.
  • Initiative and willingness to take on additional responsibilities.
  • Self-starter and work with direction and taking ownership of areas of responsibility.
  • Detail-oriented.
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Monday - Friday 8:30am to 5:00pm
  • Temporary to Hire
  • $17per hour
