We are currently assisting our client, Global Tier 1 automotive supplier, with a Director of Quality search to be located in Greenville, SC. This position will be responsible for the division's quality standards and will serve as the interface point at a senior level with customers. The successful candidate will also be responsible for developing local teams, clearly communicate any changes, and ensure products meet the highest quality standards.

Responsibilities:

Review monthly global divisional performance and improvement status

Work closely with Production, Engineering, and Quality teams on any necessary improvement plans

Support divisions with customer on-site reviews

Communicate best practices amongst sites to promote systemic improvements

Review Corrective Action reports for complete root cause analysis and implementation of Permanent Corrective and Preventive Actions

Establish and maintain good communication with the assigned customer

Provide coaching and mentoring to Quality Managers

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree

10+ years' leading Quality departments in Tier 1 Automotive experience

Proven ability to interface with automotive OEM customers

Ability to travel 75%

Total Compensation:

Commensurate with experience
