POSITION: Information Technology / Assurance Specialist IILOCATION: Dahlgren, VACLEARANCE: TS/SCIOverview:G2 Global Solutions, LLC. is seeking an experienced Information Technology / Assurance Specialist II to provide support to our customer and its mission.The IT/IA primary function is working within Special Access Programs (SAPs) supporting Department of Defense (DoD)agencies, such as HQ Air Force, Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD) and Military Compartments efforts. The position will provide day-to-day support for Collateral, Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) and SpecialAccess Program (SAP) activities.Principle Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following:Establish complex operational software configuration controls and system interfaces for computer system(s) assignedMaintain file servers, Firewalls, network access, Security Monitoring Systems and system documentation as requiredAnalyze and troubleshoot system anomalies to ensure optimum equipment performancePrepare system for operational use and support operational testsReview, prepare, and update authorization packagesNotify customer when changes occur that might affect authorization accreditationConduct cybersecurity portion of the self-inspection's checklistReview and provide technical and cyber security coordination on all Bodies of Evidence that make- up the authorization packageIdentify any and all vulnerabilities and implement countermeasuresEnsure information systems and network appliances are operated, maintained, and disposed of in accordance with security policies and practicesPerform Video-Teleconferencing VTC System Administration, Scheduling, & ConfigurationProvide External Information System(s) Client SupportPerform account creations, changes, & deletions on multiple authorization boundariesPerform Help Desk & troubleshooting activitiesPerform Hardware/Software System Configuration, upgrades and modificationsPerform system and network appliance patching activitiesProvide Government-Issued Laptop SupportAssist in Media Control & Accountability activitiesPerform COMSEC account/equipment management activitiesRequired Skills:5-7 years related experiencePrior performance in roles such as System, Network Administrator or Information Technology/Assurance SpecialistsDesired Skills:N/ARequired Certifications:Must meet position and certification requirements outlined in DoD Directive 8570.01-M for Information Assurance Technician Level II or Information Assurance Manager II within 6 months of the date of hireDesired Certifications:N/ARequired Education:Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience (4 years)G2 Global Solutions, LLC. provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants without regard to race, color, religious creed, sex, sexual orientation, national origin, ancestry, citizenship status, pregnancy, childbirth, physical disability, mental disability, age, military status or status as a Vietnam-era or special disabled veteran, marital status, registered domestic partner or civil union status, gender (including sex stereotyping and gender identity or expression), medical condition (including, but not limited to, cancer related or HIV/AIDS related), genetic information, or any other protected classifications in accordance with applicable federal, state and local laws.
