Toft Dairy is currently seeking a full time Dairy Store/Parlor Manager on Venice Road in Sandusky, OH. The ideal applicant would have outstanding leadership and management skills in the food service or related industry. Exceptional communication and customer service skills would be of utmost importance in working with the public environment. In this position you would be opening and closing the store as scheduled, greeting customers, managing staff and overseeing other relative duties pertaining to overall day-to-day.

Toft Dairy offers a competitive compensation package to include 401(k) retirement plan, company paid short-term, long-term, life and accidental death & dismemberment insurance. After successful completion of a 60-day probationary period, you will be eligible for Medical Insurance with Rx Drug Coverage. Upon completion of 90-days of employment, Supplemental Insurance for vision and dental, etc. are offered through Principal and/or AFLAC. 401(k) with Company Match is offered on the first day of employment with a company match after completing 6 months.

Experience:

  • 2 - 3 years experience in food service management position/capacity
  • Ensuring customers are served in a friendly and timely manner to guarantee a positive experience
  • Handling peak customer times professionally and efficiently.
  • Recruiting, training and managing food service employees in accordance with Food Safety and Health regulation while upholding Toft Dairy policies.
  • Scheduling and managing employee work hours in accordance with minor labor laws if applicable.
  • Cash management and point of sale register duties
  • Opening/Closing daily procedures
  • Adhere to all safety and sanitation regulations to ensure a safe working environment for both staff and guests
  • Ability to learn and use the current register point of sale program.
