We are currently seeking a

Supply Chain Analyst

to join our team based in Eden Prairie, MN. This role will report to the Master Planner and work onsite and at our production facility and HQ. The main purpose of this role will be to help our customers grow and save money by ensuring all demand parameters are understood and managed in a way that delivers Lean Supply Chain outcomes.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

1. Initiate and facilitate a production plan to establish lead times for each production operation according to sales forecasts and customer expectations.

Monitor and plan production scheduling by releasing work as production capacity and material availability permit.

Adapt to changing production, material scenarios, and changes in customer expectations to improve daily schedule adherence performance.

Coordinate with operations, production teams, and warehouse to ensure customer orders are completed and shipped by customer due dates.

2. Understand the business units, capacity planning, and systems to work effectively with sales, R&D, production, vendors, internal and external customers.

Initiate and facilitate a production plan to establish lead times for each production operation according to sales forecasts and customer expectations for 1-4 weeks.

Support capacity planning to determine crewing and scheduling decisions.

Optimize supply flow through logistics leadership, internal and external customer service, lean manufacturing analysis, and network design.

Manage logistics from supplier input materials through distribution and ultimately to the customer.

3. Effectively manage customer expectations throughout the order fulfillment process while fostering a long-lasting, cohesive partnership with customers

Ensure accurate order placement by receiving incoming POs, entering orders, verifying existing BOMs, scheduling, and acknowledging receipt.

Ensure that questions and concerns are addressed completely in all customer communications professionally, accurately, and timely.

Assist in scheduling and completing new product launches.

Coordinate with account managers to relieve slow & obsolete inventory.

4. Establish and maintain procurement planning execution for our customers that complies with our business model, providing opportunity for growth while containing costs.

Provide high-level interpretation of MRP information and purchase order processing to enhance and maintain the system's integrity.

Strategic procurement of packaging components targeting JIT delivery based on the production schedule.

5. Perform other work as assigned.

Qualification and Skill Requirements

Prior Experience

1-3 years of documented success as an Analyst or in a similar role in a manufacturing environment is highly preferred.

4-year college degree in Business or similar discipline or equivalent experience is required.

Knowledge Requirements:

This position requires specific knowledge of scheduling and procurement practices used in a production setting.

This position also requires specific knowledge of call management and phone communication techniques and a general understanding of the business processes of ordering, processing, and fulfilling customer orders with customer satisfaction.

Requires advanced knowledge of software such as Alliance or other MRP/ERP systems.

Direction and Oversight of Others: None

Licenses and Certifications: APICS/CPIM certification is a plus.
