Mechanical Engineer Student Associate

The Mechanical Engineer Student Associate assists with the support of effective operations of equipment and efficient utilization of utilities. Provides technical support and record keeping for designated mechanical systems and equipment. Under the guidance of Facilities Services Department engineers, reviews and updates mechanical systems, equipment and utilities contracts, drawings, regulatory compliance documentation, and standard operating procedures.

Minimum Qualifications

For Hire:

Currently enrolled in College of Engineering Mechanical Engineering program. Proficiency with computers and computer applications, technology, office software and AutoCAD, preferred. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to read and understand electrical/mechanical blueprints and drawings, read and understand technical manuals and systems specifications.
