ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Operations:Ensure that clients and guests are provided excellent customer service and a warm environment.Train, onboard, and supervise volunteers while developing leaders - providing clear guidance on their roles and responsibilities.Coordinate volunteer schedules, ensuring adequate coverage for all areas of operation.Help stock grocery shelves, ensuring an organized and appealing display of food items.Manage the food distribution on the grocery floor, ensuring efficient operations throughout grocery service hours by utilizing clear signage & labels.Support facility cleanliness and maintenance, working collaboratively with others to create a welcoming and orderly environment.Occasional work outside of standard business hours required for large volunteer groups Administration:Track and record volunteer service times, maintaining accurate records for reporting purposes.Answer emails and phone calls promptly and professionally, providing accurate information and assistance.Proficiency in Google Workspace and Microsoft Office, utilizing these tools for efficient communication and documentation. QUALIFICATIONS Position requires strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage with clients, guests, and volunteers. Must have a passion for helping others and be able to create a welcoming environment. Excellent computer, reading and writing skills are needed - including fluency Google Workspace and Microsoft Office applications. Position requires organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Experience preferred in a small business environment, but not required. CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS Valid driver's license required. Forklift training provided. PHYSICAL DEMANDS Physical demands include only those reasonable in a normal retail store, office and warehouse environment with the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
