Job Summary: We are a growing, fast-paced property management office located in Farmington Hills, MI seeking a Training and Development Manager. We are looking for a dynamic and experienced training manager with a proven track record of being part of a team that has built a training & development department and curriculum from the ground up. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, dependable, self-motivated and highly organized.

Responsibilities: Training Program Management: Lead the creation, deployment, and strategic management of M. Shapiro's comprehensive training curriculum and department. Conduct performance analysis, gather feedback, and work with our leadership team to identify training needs and address gaps. Innovate by developing supplementary training materials, resources, and manuals to enrich training programs, fostering knowledge-sharing within the training department. Efficiently coordinate and schedule a training calendar. Oversee and guarantee associate compliance with our Learning Management System. Create, advocate for, and ensure adherence to company policies and directives.

Leadership and Team Development:

Serve as an inspiring and consistent voice for M. Shapiro's culture, nurturing a positive and collaborative atmosphere among team members. Provide guidance and mentorship to employees to drive their professional growth and development. Champion a culture of continuous improvement by coaching and mentoring trainers to excel in their roles. Collaborate closely with the leadership team to identify high-potential employees and cultivate robust succession plans. Utilize company programs to report comprehensively and rank performance, celebrating achievements and pinpointing opportunities for growth. Recognize and celebrate top performers, acknowledging their outstanding contributions to our success. Training Delivery and Evaluation:

Deliver engaging and interactive training sessions, applying various methods such as instructor-led training, e-learning, workshops, and seminars to foster a learning culture. Conduct assessments to gauge the effectiveness of training programs, drawing insights from evaluations, feedback, and performance metrics. Drive innovation by continuously enhancing training delivery methods infusing innovative approaches and cutting-edge technologies into our training initiatives.

Compliance and Regulatory Requirements:

Stay at the forefront of industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes impacting the residential property management sector. Ensure that our training programs comply with all pertinent legal and regulatory requirements. Build robust relationships with the stakeholders, including regional managers, HR professionals, and subject matter experts, to strengthen our training efforts. Collaborate proactively with cross-functional teams to identify and address training needs across various areas, including customer service, leasing, property maintenance, and compliance.

Education and Qualifications:

Bachelors Degree in Secondary Education or Adult Learning preferred Min Five years experience in training and development roles, preferably in the multifamily or manufactured housing industries Min 2 years as a training team lead/manager Proven track record of being part of a team that has built a training & development department & curriculum from the ground up
