**Job Title: MIG Welder**
**Job Description**
Our client has been a leader in the design and manufacture of custom-engineered metal building systems for over three decades. We efficiently service customers throughout North America and beyond. Our metal buildings are fully customized to fit our customers unique needs to provide sophisticated, energy-efficient, and environmentally friendly building solutions. This is a direct placement position offering a base pay plus a production bonus, ranging from $80K to $85K annually. The role requires working 3rd shift with 10-hour shifts from 10 PM to 6 AM, Sunday through Thursday. During the slow season, shifts drop to 8 hours starting at 8 PM.
**Hard Skills**
+ MIG welding experience
+ Ability to pass 1G Weld Test and 2G Weld Test within 6 months
+ Structural welding experience on aluminum, metal, and steel
+ Ability to read a tape measure down to 1/16th inch
+ Welding steel structural parts as specified per drawings or prints
+ Operating grinder to prepare and finish welds
+ Operating overhead flip-rite cranes, transfers, and magnetic drills
+ Setting up the welding machine to ensure proper welding within specifications
**Job Type**
This is a permanent position.
**Work Site**
This is a fully on-site position in Terrell, Texas.
**Work Environment**
Non climate-controlled site
