We are looking for a Residential Lender II that will be located in Knoxville but will also take care of our Chariton and Seymour branches.

The position entails interviewing loan applicants, originating and processing applications for mortgage loans for in- house and the secondary market. This includes but not limited to taking detailed loan applications; analyzing credit and financial information to make appropriate loan decisions; ensuring all pertinent information is collected from the applicant, including HMDA; assisting with processing files; determining applicants' eligibility using bank approved underwriting guidelines; resolving problems; coordinating closings with all parties involved; and generating additional business by calling on Realtors.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Four year degree in business, finance, accounting or economics or equivalent experience required. Minimum of four years banking experience with three years of mortgage lending experience required. Credit analysis and loan documentation experience preferred.

SCHEDULE:

A regular working shift will vary between the hours of 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday and some Saturdays

COMPENSATION:

Compensation Range (compensatory based on previous banking experience): $29.86/hr. to $37.33/hr.
