What We Are Looking For:

As the Sr. HR Generalist, you will gain multi-site experience working with our field personnel in our six branch locations (Atlanta, Austin, Dallas/Fort Worth, Harlingen, Nashville, and San Antonio). We need someone with at least eight years of HR generalist experience working in the construction industry, or similar working environment, with a passion for making a direct impact on our workforce. If you are comfortable working in a diverse bilingual environment (English and Spanish), possess strong human resources acumen with hands-on experience, and bring the desire and willingness to build relationships with operations leaders and teams in the field - we want to hear from you

What You Will Do:

The Sr. HR Generalist will serve as a strategic partner working towards the alignment of our employee-related initiatives, field operations leadership, and overall company objectives. This position will work with management and branch employees on Human Resource issues, and act as an employee champion for our Field workforce, providing guidance and support. HR-related duties will include, but are not limited to, recruiting, employee relations, the administration and communication of HR-related policies, programs, and procedures, along with project staffing/site access, and contract compliance.

The Sr. HR Generalist will work closely with the operations teams to assess and anticipate HR-related needs while building strong relationships to deliver value-added services. This role can be based in any of our Texas branch locations with the expectation of traveling at least 50% of the time to our branch locations and project sites to interact one on one with our operations leadership and field personnel. This is a hands-on role that has an opportunity to connect with our workforce in their work environment. Your efforts will have a direct impact on supporting a diverse culture of skilled professionals who deliver excellence in commercial and residential specialty construction.

We'd Love To Hear From People With:

•At least eight (8) years of human resources generalist experience
•Bachelor's degree in Business, Organizational Management, Human Resources, and/or SPHR/PHR or SHRM SCP/CP certification preferred.
•Bilingual, fluent in English required, and Spanish preferred
•Familiarity with federal and state Employment Law.
•Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

•Strong leadership and organizational skills with the ability to develop strong functional teams.
•Ability to build strong partnerships across reporting relationships.
•Solution oriented /or/ Solution minded. Capable of analyzing information, identifying root causes, and developing approved solutions.
•Experience managing employee relations, recruiting, engagement/retention, HR policies and procedures, preferably in the construction industry.
•Strong communication and listening skills, and excellent speaking, reading, and writing skills.
•Ability to effectively multitask and drive multiple priorities at the same time.
•Ability to prepare routine administrative paperwork.

Compensation:

This is a full-time, exempt position that offers a competitive compensation package commensurate with qualifications and experience. As the Sr. HR Generalist, your total compensation will be comprised of a base salary with annual bonus potential. Benefits include group medical insurance, vacation and holiday pay, family medical leave, a 401(k) plan, vehicle allowance, fuel reimbursement, and more.
