Job Description Summary
The CFO will provide comprehensive financial leadership to GE HealthCare's Advanced Visualization Solutions (AVS) segment, which is responsible for generating $5 billion in annual revenue with an EBIT of over 20%. As a key member of the segment leadership team, the CFO will drive creation of shareholder value, partnering across the value stream to promote organic & inorganic growth, margin expansion, and cash flow conversion.

Job Description

Essential Responsibilities:
  • Be a strong strategic & operational partner to the AVS CEO: drive growth and financial performance for the short, mid, and long-term for a fully loaded P&L and balance sheet.
  • Manage capital & resource allocation across the value stream, including new product introductions and the entire product lifecycle, from design through delivery, service, and end-of-life.
  • Lead the development and delivery of quarterly financial targets, annual operating plans/forecasts, and long-term strategic planning.
  • Guide the transformation of 2 business units of Image Guided Therapies and Ultrasound into a high-performing AVS business segment of GEHC.
  • Drive profitable growth through analysis of results, key metrics reporting, and advising the leadership team on risks, opportunities, and recommended actions.
  • Provide financial analysis, insights, and expertise to support business decision-making while anticipating, evaluating and mitigating strategic risks and opportunities (market, geopolitics, technology/AI)
  • Oversee Business Development and acquisition integration activities for the segment, including evaluating and executing inorganic growth opportunities such as licensing and partnerships.
  • Provide functional leadership for a team 60+ Finance colleagues in Controllership, Business Finance, FP&A
  • Engage with senior stakeholders in regions and functions to drive alignment and accountability.
  • Lead cross-functional projects to enhance operational performance, founded on Lean principles.
  • Simplify and automate monthly closing processes to improve linearity, increase visibility, and reduce manual work.
  • Drive controllership throughout the operating team, ensure SOX compliance, and support external financial audits as required.
  • Uphold integrity throughout all processes, policies, and practices by ensuring appropriate communication, training, and prioritization of related activities.


Qualifications/Requirements:

- Master's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Business Administration

- Strong critical thinking skills with the ability to add financial expertise and strategic value to operating teams

- Demonstrated ability to lead and communicate effectively in a global team environment, across strategic business units and with headquarters

- Experience with financial systems/applications

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex business issues clearly and concisely to senior executives

- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence others and drive change across all levels, functions, and regions including experience in working in a matrixed environment

Desired Characteristics:

- Training and/or certification in process improvement methodologies such as LEAN International Assignment (outside of US) in a large corporate enterprise
