Resolves employee complaints related to health and welfare plans and refer difficult or very complex complaints to manager as needed. Assist and generate HR reporting metrics and end of month reports. Track, maintain and monitor leave of absence and workers compensation claims including documentation in accordance with state and federal laws. Drive a culture of appreciation by administering employee recognition programs and planning company events and activities. Assist in Corporate Human Resource projects with the Global VP of Human Resources as needed. Support the Freudenberg Medical (FM) Talent Management process within the location, ensuring a full succession pipeline, and the development of relevant potentials for future positions. Partner with Talent Acquisition in the recruitment of key/difficult to fill positions within the location. Conduct research into Human Resource programs and activities and recommend changes and/or innovations when desirable. Develop and supervise training programs and assist with the administering of new associate orientation and indoctrination programs. Partner with Management in the interpretation of Human Resource policies in the advisement and participation with facility Supervision in disciplinary and/or termination proceedings. Qualifications: Associate degree in business or related discipline or equivalent experience. Bilingual Spanish highly preferred. A minimum of 3-5 years of experience administration and general human resources activities preferably in a manufacturing environment. A minimum of 3-5 years full-service recruiting experience. Ability to present information to a small group. Knowledge of the principles and practices of human resources and familiarity with federal and state labor and employment laws and regulations. Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Payroll and HRIS systems, preferably Workday, SAP and ADP. Maintain a friendly, positive and approachable demeanor in all situations. Trustworthy, discrete and a high degree of personal integrity to maintain sensitive and confidential information. Strong analytical problem-solving skills. Excellent negotiation and customer service skills. Ability to effectively prioritize and execute projects/tasks in a high-pressure environment while balancing multiple projects and adhering to strict deadlines. Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to clearly convey information and ideas to diverse audiences. Flexible, open to change and accepting of new unique projects or responsibilities. Desire to continuously learn and stay current on laws, rules, regulations and trends affecting the human resources field. Accurate and attention to detail to ensure accuracy.
