*Procurement Specialist * *(Contract with possible hire | Hybrid Chicago, IL)* Were seeking a detail-oriented *Procurement Specialist* to join a growing corporate procurement team supporting enterprise-wide purchasing and vendor operations. This position offers a *6-month contract with potential for extension or full-time conversion* and a *hybrid work schedule* based in Chicago, IL. Youll collaborate across procurement, finance, and operations teams to process purchase orders, track invoices, support contract renewals, and maintain vendor data playing an integral role in keeping day-to-day purchasing and financial workflows running smoothly. *Responsibilities* * Process and track *purchase orders, invoices, and vendor renewals* * Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate purchasing and timely payment of vendor invoices * Maintain procurement records and vendor data within enterprise systems * Support the creation and documentation of *contracts, SOWs, and renewals* * Monitor procurement requests and route approvals as needed * Identify and recommend opportunities for process improvements across purchasing and vendor operations *Qualifications* * 5+ years of *procurement or purchasing experience* within a corporate or professional services environment * Hands-on experience processing *purchase orders and invoices* * Familiarity with tools such as *Coupa, SAP Ariba, Workday, ServiceNow, Chrome River, or Oracle* * Strong attention to detail and organizational skills * Excellent communication and ability to collaborate across departments * Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment *Additional Details* * *Location:* Chicago, IL (Hybrid approx. once per week onsite) * *Duration:* 6-month contract with potential to extend or convert full-time * *Hours:* Full-time, 40 hours per week * *Compensation:* Equivalent to $100110K annually (based on experience) *About the Opportunity* This is a great fit for someone who enjoys structured, process-driven work and wants to grow their career within a mature procurement environment.
