How you will make an impact: Develop and lead the Manufacturing Network procurement activities such as being the main point of contact for the Global Planning, Sourcing and Logistics (GPS&L) team and the Supply Chain teams in the Network’s manufacturing locations. Accountable for stabilizing and streamlining procurement practices in alignment to global policies, enabling Global Supply Chain to effectively scale to meet business growth aspirations. Partner with Material Resources Planning (MRP) system and process owners, Global Sourcing, Global Planning, and other Network procurement leads to set standards and ensure Network compliance. Develop standard processes for new data driven capabilities (i.e. JDE MRP, supplier forecasting), partner strategically with the Global Sourcing Organization and Manufacturing Plants to advance key supplier decisions and provide Network oversight of multi-site procurement

activities. Develop, document, and implement supplier forecasting processes and governance for key suppliers and critical components. Develop plans to alleviate component supply risks and optimally allocate component volume across network in constrained situations. Develop MRP driven short-range monthly supplier forecasts and long-range supplier forecasts as part of Strategy Plan process. Develop and implement Business Continuity Plans (BCP) to de-risk critical components supply. Develop and deploy strategy to expand Pull to Suppliers and work with Global Planning to deploy Pull to Finished Goods Develop, document and implement supplier capacity assessments and necessary internal capacity assessments (i.e. Plant Receiving Inspection). Develop and monitor network procurement metrics for key stakeholders and communicate in required forums. Provide network over-sight for localization strategies and on-going governance. Develop talent in the organization on supply chain best practices and tools. Detect, communicate, and monitor business continuity risks for critical components, partnering with Global Planning and Global Sourcing. Support procurement stability for new products from clinical stage to commercialization. Lead procurement planning and stabilized ramp-up for new manufacturing plants and their procurement teams Represent the manufacturing network on key dual sourcing and vertical integration decisions, including the Make vs. Buy Council. Participate in supplier quarterly business reviews. What you’ll need (Required): Bachelor’s Degree and 12 years of previous experience in supply chain. Proven successful leadership and project management experience. Strong prior experience with MRP process and ERP systems. FDA regulated industry experience. What else we look for (Preferred): Master's Degree and 8 years of previous related experience in supply chain. Lean Six Sigma Green Belt and/or APICS CPIM. Ability to critically analyze data and effectively communicate analysis to various stakeholders. Proven successful project management skills. Extensive understanding of policies, procedures, and guidelines relevant to local and/or global supply chain including FDA and ISO laws and regulations. For California, the base pay range for this position is $138,000 to $195,000 (highly experienced).
