Description The Continuing Medical Education (CME) Coordinator is responsible for development of educational programs for the medical staff to ensure compliance with the Medical Staff Bylaws, Rules & Regulations, The Joint Commission (TJC), CMA CME Standards and other regulatory agencies. Required qualifications: California Fire and Life Safety Card - National Organization within 30 days of hire Preferred qualifications: Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Healthcare, Education, Business Administration or related field, or equivalent education/experience. Upon hire: CCMEP (Certified Continuing Medical Education Professional) Upon hire: CPMSM (Certified Professional Medical Staff Manager) or CPSC (Certified Provider Credentialing Specialist) 3 years of recent experience as a Credentials Coordinator and/or CME Coordinator.
