Overview of the company in need of a Finance Director:
Our client is a privately held Church
The CFO is looking for someone who he can groom and take lead
They have beautiful space with a open, team environment
Employees have said things like: "supportive leadership and management team", "promote from within"
Overview of the Finance Director opportunity:
Finance Director will assist in preforming daily general ledger accounting functions, monthly close, journal entries
Finance Director will manage workflow to ensure all financial transactions are accounted in the general ledger accurately and timely
Finance Director will have books completed during budget process.
Prepare financial statements for month-end close process
Background Preferred:
Finance Director should have a Bachelors Degree
Finance Director should have 5+ years of general accounting experience
Finance Director should have demonstrated ability to do all of the required tasks for this role
Finance Director should be able to work independently in a hybrid environment
Finance Director must be proficient in QuickBooks On-line.
