Position Title: Clinical Educator/In-Service Coordinator

Schedules Available: Full-Time. Primarily Monday-Friday.

Duties/Responsibilities:

Provides standardized training programs for staff to enhance quality of care provided. Conducts orientation and ongoing education for all staff hired at our skilled nursing facility. Education will include the overall processes related to quality care in the skilled nursing setting, documentation and navigation of the electronic record and facility processes and procedures. Training ensures adherence to company policies and procedures and compliance with all state and federal regulations and guidelines. Collaborates with the core interdisciplinary team and leadership to assess quality and implement clinical training programs to facilitate standardized delivery of services and provide optimal outcomes for our residents. Works in collaboration with the Director of Nursing and Assistant Director of Nursing.

Requirements/Qualifications:
•Minimum of 3 years of clinical nursing experience in long-term care setting.
•Licensed in NYS as a registered nurse with CPR certification.
•Knowledge of CNA training program, DOH regulations, state survey process.
•Working knowledge of performance improvement, education, infection control methodologies, tools, and techniques.
•Previous teaching experience in geriatric setting highly desirable.
