Title: Medical Staff Specialist

Facility: St. Joseph's Hospital

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for assuring departmental and hospital regulatory compliance with the credentialing and re-credentialing processes requiring Medical Staff committee approval.
  • Monitors practitioner membership and privileging eligibility and maintains credentialing and other Medical Staff Office data bases.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Experience

  • Required - 3 years Medical Staff Office operations
  • Or - 1 year credentialing/credentialing support
  • Or - 2 years Administrative Support

Experience

  • Required - High School or Equivalent
  • Preferred - Bachelor's in Healthcare Administration

Certifications

  • Preferred - CPCS (Credentialing)
