Specialist, Event Strategy & Planning
Position Overview

This company is seeking a Specialist, Event Strategy & Planning to join their team in Memphis, TN. The successful candidate will support and assist Advisors and Senior Advisors on design and audience activation strategies for Standard, Seminar and Signature events. They will assist on the execution of the logistical plans and ensure that event collateral and branding align with campaign messaging.

  • Proficient in Canva and PowerPoint
  • 2-3 years of experience in event management
Responsibilities
  • Assist on logistical plans for event experiences that align with program and organizational goals by utilizing design principles to coordinate with partners on concepts, design, and engagement strategies
  • Implement best practices for meeting agendas/recap, event checklist, SOS, RFPs, event budgets, etc.
  • Schedule meetings with partners, committees, and other external stakeholders
  • Provide onsite assistance to Advisors and Senior Advisors for complex Seminars and Signature events
  • Determine room layouts based upon dimensions and attendee needs
  • Responsible for leading and scheduling planning meetings
  • Responsible for managing timeline and schedule of vendors for standard events
