Maintenance Technician II - Electrical (3rd Shift) The Maintenance Technician II Electrical plays a key role in ensuring reliable operation of all plant equipment and systems. This position performs skilled electrical and mechanical maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair while applying advanced knowledge of controls and preventive maintenance practices. The role also supports other maintenance technicians, promoting continuous improvement and technical excellence across the team. Pay rate: $38.32/hour + $1.50 shift differential for non-standard shifts. Essential Responsibilities: Troubleshoot and repair electrical, electronic, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. Diagnose and maintain Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs), Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), and Servo Drives, including parameter adjustment and replacement. Apply working knowledge of AC/DC power systems, including single-phase and three-phase configurations. Perform preventive and predictive maintenance activities to ensure optimal equipment reliability. Assist in equipment installation, calibration, and adjustment to maintain process accuracy. Read and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and technical manuals. Complete maintenance records accurately and follow established reporting procedures. Collaborate with other maintenance personnel to resolve complex equipment issues. Safely operate a wide range of powered hand tools, air/electric guns, and vibratory equipment. Follow all established safety procedures and use required personal protective equipment to maintain a safe work environment. Ensure proper lockout/tagout, machine guarding, and other safety measures are consistently applied to prevent injury or equipment damage. Maintain organized, clean, and safe work areas in alignment with 5S and housekeeping expectations.
