Location Description:
Manor Vail Lodge is one of Vail's original and iconic properties. With studio, one, two and three-bedroom condominiums plus luxury penthouses, Manor Vail Lodge is a full-service condominium property that features all the amenities of a full-service hotel, including two outdoor heated swimming pools, four hot tubs, spa, fitness center, The Fitz Bar and new restaurant, Ridge + River. Located steps from Vail Village, Golden Peak ski area, Betty Ford Alpine Gardens, and the Ford Amphitheater, Manor Vail Lodge is the complete package for Vail lodging.
Overview:
The Staff Accountant's basic function is to assist the Accounting Team in all aspects of revenue control and reporting, pertaining to but not limited to the processing, balancing, and analysis of daily reports, Financial Statements and Asset/Liability accounts; and assisting as needed with assigned accounting functions.
Earns between $25-$32/hr based on experience

We anticipate the position to be filled by 6/30/2024.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Support daily Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable duties.
Respond to internal inquiries from F&B, Sales and Reservations concerning daily report, and a minority of external guest inquiries as needed.
Reconcile and post daily report; prepare general deposits, reporting, and bank audits
Become familiar with the Owner Accounting process to prepare and send monthly statements through Springer Miller
Coordinate inventory counting with F&B and purchasing, monitor and create inventory spreadsheets.
Create and track labor report, updating for budget and forecast every month.
Assist with month end closing process
Prepare and coordinate balance sheet reconciliations and comply with corporate submission of reconciliations.
Assist in the preparation of monthly financial reporting for rental program and managed associations.

Education/Experience:
Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or more than one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language Ability:
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
Math Ability:
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
Computer Skills:
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Office Products including Word, excellent knowledge of Excel and Excel Spreadsheets and Outlook; and ability to learn the PMS Springer Miller and POS InfoGenesis.

Compensation Range:The compensation for this position is $25.00/Hr. - $32.00/Hr. based on qualifications and experience.
