Location Description

Manor Vail Lodge is one of Vail's original and iconic properties. With studio, one, two and three-bedroom condominiums plus luxury penthouses, Manor Vail Lodge is a full-service condominium property that features all the amenities of a full-service hotel, including two outdoor heated swimming pools, four hot tubs, spa, fitness center, The Fitz Bar and new restaurant, Ridge + River. Located steps from Vail Village, Golden Peak ski area, Betty Ford Alpine Gardens, and the Ford Amphitheater, Manor Vail Lodge is the complete package for Vail lodging.

Overview

The host/ess greets the guests, seats them, takes phone calls and makes reservations.

-earns $18/hr

-Benefits available: Retirement Benefits with a company match program, Colorado sick time and public emergency leave, Discount Room Nights at Pyramid properties and Parking.

-Available June-Labor Day or later

-shifts range from 3pm-7pm and usually work Thursday-Sunday shifts

-We anticipate to fill the role by 6/30/2024

The Host/ess are responsible for welcoming and creating the first impression for guests. These individuals have the ability to influence the overall restaurant experience by their interactions that include providing table accommodations and offering menu recommendations. Host/ess may be the final point of contact and have the ability to ensure guest satisfaction. If you have worked as a restaurant host or restaurant hostess, your skills are invaluable to the position of Host/ess at Manor Vail Lodge. Your restaurant job experience will give you the tools to be successful as a restaurant Host/ess.

Qualifications:

Language Ability:

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.

Reasoning Ability:

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

Computer Skills:

Working knowledge of InfoGenesis and Open Table are also recommended.

Compensation Range

The compensation for this position is $18.00/Yr. - $18.00/Yr. based on qualifications and experience.
