Title Regional Manager - Retail Reports to Retail Director Operations
The Retail Regional Manager will be responsible for managing and overseeing the performance of multiple retail stores within a designated region. This leadership role will require an individual who is passionate about customer experience, operational excellence, and driving sales growth. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully managing teams, optimizing store operations, and executing company strategies across multiple locations.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Lead and support Store Managers across multiple locations, ensuring they are meeting operational goals and delivering exceptional customer service.
- Recruit, train, and develop top talent to create a high-performing team.
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Ensure all stores within the region operate in compliance with company policies, procedures, and brand standards.
- Monitor and analyze store performance metrics, including sales, profitability, inventory, and customer satisfaction.
- Implement operational improvements to streamline processes and enhance efficiency.
- Drive sales and revenue growth by executing company sales strategies, promotions, and marketing initiatives.
- Analyze sales data and trends to identify opportunities for improvement and implement action plans to achieve financial goals.
- Develop regional budgets and forecasts in collaboration with senior management.
- Ensure that all stores deliver a superior customer experience, building customer loyalty and satisfaction.
- Handle escalated customer concerns and work with store management teams to resolve issues promptly.
- Enforce compliance with health and safety regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.
- Lead initiatives that support long-term business growth and market share expansion in the region.
- Ensure all stores maintain a safe, clean, and secure environment for both employees and customers.
- Regularly report on regional performance metrics, trends, and areas of concern to senior leadership.
- Communicate and implement corporate directives, promotions, and operational changes across the region.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to develop regional strategies and ensure alignment with company-wide goals.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Retail Management, or a related field (or combination of education and relevant experience that will allow the candidate to be successful).
- Minimum of 5-7 years of retail management experience, with at least 3 years in a multi-store or regional management role.
- Bilingual, English and Spanish required
- Knowledge of Money Transfer Industry a plus
- Strong leadership and people management abilities, with a focus on coaching and development.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work across diverse teams and departments.
- Solid understanding of retail operations, including sales, inventory management, and customer service.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial and operational data.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and retail management software.
- Ability to travel regularly within the region.
- Work is primarily done in a general office environment
- Manual dexterity to use computer, telephone, and peripherals
- Occasional evening and weekend availability may be required.
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
