Telecommute Option - Must reside in ID, OR, UT or WA
WHO WE NEED
Partner with the business to analyze how Data Reporting solutions can create process efficiencies and deliver actionable insights to improve customer experiences.
Drive to deliver sustainable, impactful data and reporting elements while building strong business partnerships to further analytics, efficiency gains, and strategic initiatives.
Preferred Key Experience:
Familiarity with Federal Employee Program (FEP) processes and policies.
Knowledge of data mining tools and methods (SQL) including server reporting services (Tableau).
Knowledge of analytic programming tools and methods. (SQL, R, Python)
Normally to be proficient in the competencies listed below:
Data Reporting Associate would have:
Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, actuarial science, statistics, computer science or related field
Or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Data Reporting Analyst would have:
Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, actuarial science, statistics, computer science or related field
3 years of related experience
Or equivalent combination of education and experience.
YOUR ROLE:
Data Reporting Analyst Associate:
Provides analytical support to any or all divisions of the organization by mining data, conducting analysis, and interpreting results related to business needs.
Develops knowledge of health plan operations, health plan data sources and structures, and cost containment strategies.
Beginning to take responsibility for ad hoc query work, research items and sustainment. Takes on portions of projects and beginning to own small projects.
Developing knowledge of and the ability to analyze data from most commonly used data systems.
Seeks to understand purpose behind requests and develop business knowledge in assigned areas.
Developing skill at summarizing & providing appropriate content and level of detail for the audience (technical or non)
Additional Data Reporting Analyst
Develops methodologies and approaches to new tasks and projects through design and development of analytical models and reports.
Proactively identify issues and concerns to management.
Develops knowledge of health plan operations, health plan data sources and structures, and cost containment strategies.
Identifies problems or needed changes, recommends resolution, and participates in quality improvement efforts.
Identifies needed reporting, assembles or directs the assembly of reports and distributes such information.
Performs acceptance testing of new reports, programs and models.
Documents business requirements and methods used to generate work output.
Drives analytic innovation and best practices within Cambia.
Actively identifies and eliminates inefficient or ineffective use of resources and provides recommendation on process improvements.
May supervise the gathering and analysis of information.
Serve as a resource on analytic programming tools and methods.
Reviews data as it relates to health plan operations to assist with the development of cost containment strategies.
May assist in training of other team members.
WHAT YOU BRING:
Data Reporting Analyst Associate
Keen analytical and problem solving skills.
Proven ability to document business requirements.
Solid oral and written communication skills.
Advanced knowledge of health plan operations, data sources, data structures within business area.
Knowledge of data mining tools and methods (SQL) including server reporting services (Tableau).
Knowledge of analytic programming tools and methods. (SAS, SQL, R, & Python)
Proven ability to design and develop reporting tools and dashboards.
Business sense (finance, accounting, economics, risk management, public health economics, social service research or epidemiology).
Ability to organize, plan and prioritize assignments within multiple projects.
Must be able to work with minimal direction and be very flexible to coordinate complex activities that are often subject to rapid or extensive changes.
Demonstrated success with project management.
Advanced oral and written communications skills.
Proven ability to perform difficult analytical tasks with minimal supervision.

The expected target hiring range for the DRA Associate is $56k (68k WA) – $76k, Data Reporting Analyst is $68k – $92k depending on skills, experience, education, and training; relevant licensure / certifications; performance history; and work location. The bonus target for this position is 5% & 10% respectively . The current full salary range for the Associate position is $56k(68k WA) Low / $66k (68k WA) MRP / $86k High, Data Reporting Analyst is $64k(68k WA) Low / $80k MRP / $104k high.
Base pay is just part of the compensation package at Cambia that is supplemented with an exceptional 401(k) match, bonus opportunity and other benefits.
