Responsibilities will include overseeing the day-to-day operations, maintaining appropriate staffing, recruiting, training and disciplining staff, maintaining service plans and relations with the families of the clients. Functions independently within the constraints of organizational policy and procedure to assure that the clients receive the highest quality services possible from available resources. Direction and guidance are available from the Daily Services Administrator.Essential Job Functions: Direct supportOversee health, wellness, and safetyClient support plan development, monitoring, and assessment over timeFacilitating and encouraging community inclusionPromoting professional relations and teamworkStaff recruitment, selection, and hiringStaff supervision, training, and developmentService management and quality assuranceAdvocacy and public relationsLeadership, professionalism, and self-developmentCultural awareness and responsivenessSupports Candeo's Mission to inspire clients to achieve their personal goals by modeling the values of the organizationServes as a role model for Candeo's clients and coworkersPerforms other related duties as assigned by the AdministratorRequirements Bachelor's degree in one of the areas listed below; plus, two years of experience working with people with intellectual disabilities/brain injury and mental illness or a combination of education and experience- Human Services, Rehabilitation, Education, Business, Psychology, or a related fieldValid Iowa Driver's License•Proof of 50/100/50K Automobile Insurance•High level of literacy in spoken and written EnglishHigh level of organizational skillsDemonstrated leadership abilityDemonstrated effective interpersonal skillsAbility to negotiate and handle conflict as neededAbility to be flexible in order to meet organizational needsA working knowledge of person-centered planning and person-centered supports is preferredProficient in the Microsoft OfficeAbility to travel in counties served by CandeoSalary Description $37,699
