Job Summary:

The Customer Service Representative will be responsible for planning and coordinating the movement of goods and materials. The ideal candidate will have experience with data entry and be highly organized. They will work closely with other departments to ensure timely and efficient delivery of products. The Customer Service Representative will also be responsible for maintaining accurate records and communicating with customers and vendors. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required

Schedule: Monday-Friday 3:00pm-11:30pm

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Develop efficient load plans that optimize space utilization and route efficiency.
  • Coordinate with warehouse staff and drivers to ensure accurate and timely loading of vehicles.
  • Communicate with carriers, drivers, and customers to confirm delivery schedules and resolve any issues that arise.
  • Work closely with the customer service and sales teams to meet customer requirements and expectations.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate records of shipments, including load plans, delivery schedules, and related documentation.
  • Ensure all loading activities comply with regulatory requirements and company policies.
  • Promote and adhere to safety standards to prevent accidents and ensure the safe handling of goods.
  • Address and resolve any issues related to load planning, such as delays, equipment shortages, or changes in customer requirements.
  • Make decisions that balance cost efficiency with customer service standards.
Requirements:
  • High School diploma or a GED.
  • Previous experience in load planning, logistics, or transportation management.
  • Proficiency in logistics software and tools (e.g., TMS, WMS).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
