Our Technical Support team is growing This role demands someone with comfort in both technical work and customer service to support our customers and partners in Japan. We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic about learning and thrives at creating and executing business processes that enhance customer experience. You will lead our customers to solutions while having support from a team based in Sydney. As a Technical Support Engineer in Japan , you love figuring out "how things work" and you'll be a resident expert on the inner workings of the Appian platform.

To be successful in this role, you need:
  • Exceptional communication, customer service and presentation skills in both Japanese and English (verbal and written)
  • Excellent problem-solving skills through previous experiences (eg, operating systems, databases and networking)
  • Desire to work closely with a growing customer base in Japan
  • Work independently while having the support from a local team in Sydney
  • Flexibility to provide after business hours support (rotation every 10 or so weeks)
Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in any Engineering discipline, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a technical support role or similar
  • Fluency in English and Japanese
