Job Description:

This job is responsible for driving and executing compliance with the operational loss events requirements. within a Line of Business (LOB) or Enterprise Control Function (ECF). Key responsibilities include providing analytical and administrative support for LOB or ECF specific processes and tools to drive adherence to enterprise-wide standards. Job expectations include entry, education to LOB and quality assurance of operational loss event reporting.

Responsibilities:

Oversees the design and effectiveness of the risk and control environment to support Global Payment Solutions adherence to enterprise-wide standards

Supports the monitoring and testing of controls by evaluating data to identify issues and control improvements for remediation

Remediate QA errors working with LOB

Implements optimized controls and enhanced Quality Assurance (QA) practices

Executes initiatives by identifying areas of potential testing automation, procedural updates, thematic trends, test script updates, and coaching opportunities to enhance QA program success

Supports the overall management of and research required for managing operational loss events, and other monitoring and inspection reviews and evaluates data and information relevant to inspection metrics to support governance activities for ops event reporting

Minimun Skills: "Must" have these skills to be minimally qualified

- 5+ years Business Control Experience working with Operational Loss events

- Ability to learn new systems quickly, superior leadership, problem solving, and organizational skills

- Strong ability to communicate (written and verbal) with internal and external partners

- Proven analytical, logical reasoning and problem solving skills

- Ability to multi-task, set goals/prioritize and meet deliverables in a fast-paced environment

- Ability to engage and influence key stakeholders; promoting change

- Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) proficient

- Detail oriented with strong analytical, process, project management and organizational skills

- Able to work in a team environment as well as independently

- Ensure adherence to Bank of America Risk Framework, regulations, policies, standards and procedures

- Ability to collaborate, manage, and expand relationships across the organization

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience

  • Manages the performance and productivity of team members that conduct quality inspection reviews
  • Ensures timely execution of QA activities including control execution, case management, and results reporting
  • Manages and reviews all operations front line unit responses for regulatory exams, internal audits, and other monitoring and inspection reviews
  • Ensures accuracy of data and that relevant information is captured for inspection metrics to support governance for dashboard reporting
