The majority of Early Intervention Services are provided in the home (in addition, per family request) limited services may be offered at the Martha Eliot Health center or via telehealth.
This Speech and Language Pathologist- Early Intervention will be responsible for:
- Performing diagnostic evaluations and treatment of communication disorders.
- Working with children ages birth to 3 years old (or infants and toddlers).
- Providing case coordination, parent counseling and follow-up services to the local community.
- Completing documentation in accordance with the Early Intervention Client System.
- Working in close collaboration and partnership with the Early Intervention Clinical Team.
- A Master's degree in Speech Pathology or a closely related field.
- 1-3 years of directly related clinical experience with infants and toddlers preferred
- A current Massachusetts state licensure to practice as a Speech Language Pathologist
- Ability to work with children and families from a variety of diverse backgrounds
- Bilingual in Spanish or another language given special consideration
- Ability to travel independently (via personal car or public transportation around the city of Boston and Brookline to visit EI clients in their homes, daycares, and other community settings)
