AP Vendor Resolutions Specialist

Indefinite Contract Role – 100% in office

Hours: Monday thru Friday, 8am to 5pm

Location: Zip Code 77002

Salary $30+ hour depending on experience and qualifications

Job Objective:

Provides exceptional customer service in resolving customer/vendor inquiries, obtaining required forms, reconciling vendor accounts, while assisting the A/P team on all administrative duties.

Essential Job Responsibilities:

Monitor and resolve A/P inquiries received in the ticketing system.

Work with vendors to resolve billing issues and obtain required forms.

Answer incoming calls from the A/P Helpdesk call center line.

Reconcile & process vendor reports/statements as requested.

Respond to internal and external telephone calls and e-mails dealing with A/P issues timely.

Adhere to the company’s values – integrity, ownership, urgency, alignment, and innovation.

Support company vision and mission.

Adhere to established work schedule, attendance standards, and be punctual to work and meetings.

Other Job Responsibilities:

Maintain employee confidence and protect company assets, including intellectual property, by keeping information confidential.

Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Perform special projects that require knowledge of accounts payable accounting.

Other duties as assigned by management.

Education Requirements:

Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited four-year university or college with a degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business.

Qualifications:

1-3 years minimum accounts payable accounting experience.

Ability to accurately solve problems and a working knowledge in data management including spreadsheet proficiency.

Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, supervisors, other departments, officials, and the public.

Ability to complete multiple, diverse tasks of differing priorities.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with specific ability to translate complex operational information into an organized and presentable manner.

Outstanding administrative and organizational skills.

Proficiency in the use and application of the following software:

Required:

Microsoft Office (Excel proficiency including V-LOOKUP), Word and Outlook.

**Please note: Will be tested during pre-screening process

Preferred:

Working knowledge of SAP software.
