ST. AUGUSTINE PREPARATORY SCHOOL SIS Data Coordinator/Technology Analyst Position St. Augustine Preparatory School, an independent 8 – 12 boys school located in Richland, NJ, seeks a SIS Data Coordinator/Technology Analyst for a 12-month, full-time exempt position. Requirements/Minimum Qualifications: This position requires 3-5 years’ experience. Experience working with Student Information Systems (SIS). Ability to think strategically, effectively analyze data, and experience in implementing data-informed decisions. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Ability to use current computer technology. Ability to travel and to work evenings and weekends as necessary. Functions of the Job: Understand the mission of the school and promote the Augustinian values of VERITAS (Truth), UNITAS (Unity), and CARITAS (Love) Support for the school’s Diversity, Equity Inclusion, and Belonging Initiative Serves as the school’s SIS (student information system) administrator. Coordinates data entry, data maintenance and data correction in the school’s information systems. Ensures integrity of data, verifies information regarding data quality and data completeness. Supports staff with the school’s SIS as well as the Learning Management System (LMS). Identifies and resolves any data issues resulting within the school’s data systems. Collaborates with SIS vendor with regards to changes and customizations to the SIS. Trains and supports staff in using aspects of the SIS for grading and posting to the parent/student portal. Trains and support staff in using aspects of the fundraising database, financial database and admissions database. Assists with school scheduling, enrollment, attendance and other issues within the SIS. Develops data standards, procedures and training for the school’s staff members. Develops and maintains documentation of data systems, standards and procedures. Produces data reports as requested by administration. Reviews current database program usage and contracts for continuation of services. Participates in training to remain current on data sources, data analysis techniques and strategies for developing and conducting presentations. Collaborates with school’s staff members to design and document processes to be followed throughout the school. Communicates clearly, concisely and effectively with the administrative staff, professional and support staff, students, parents and the community. Other duties as assigned. Open up Help Desk tickets from students, faculty, staff, and administration to resolve issues. While primary Chromebook is being repaired, ensure students receive a loaned Chromebook. Order necessary parts to repair Chromebooks. Help train students, faculty, staff, and administration on technology usage. A cover letter explaining their interest and qualifications for the position.
