Description

As the Customer Relations Support associate, you will support our customers and the Customer Relations Team by means of order entry, filing, answering incoming calls, special projects and other duties pertaining to departmental efficiencies and delivering superior customer experiences for our prospective and existing customer base. Rate of pay $17.50/hr

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Responds to telephone sales calls to acquire and retain customers.
  • Assists department as well as customers with inquiries for sales of printed product and miscellaneous sale items.
  • Assists Project Managers with order entry process.
  • Completes estimating/engineering of printed and unprinted products, and preparing quotations for customers and/or sales reps.
  • Answers incoming calls, determines purpose of calls and directs calls to appropriate personnel or department.
  • Welcomes visitors, determines nature of business and coordinates contact with the appropriate personnel.
  • Files job jackets or conducts miscellaneous tasks as assigned by Customer Relations Manager or Project Managers.
  • Participates in continued growth/understanding of printing capabilities as well as continued education in customer service/sales for self-improvement.
  • Supports food safety initiatives such as IFS, GMP, HACCP and Food Defense.
Qualifications

Requirements:

Education and Experience:
  • HS (GED) required.
  • Three or more years of experience working with customers either in person and/or via telephone/email or in a support position providing service to customers or other personnel.
Job Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with employees at all levels of the organization as well as outside contacts.
  • Ability to effectively establish rapport, present information and respond promptly to questions/inquiries of internal departments, customers, management and other team members.
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral or schedule form.
  • Ability to calculate basic math and figures (discounts, commissions, pro-rata, percentages and volume).
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Must take direction well with above average follow through.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize different tasks.
  • Must be flexible in response to changing needs and deadlines.
  • Ability to work overtime and weekends as required.
  • Excellent computer skills, advanced proficiency in Excel preferred.

Training Requirements:
  • Willing to attend required training courses or sessions related to the job as assigned.
Physical Demands:
  • Typical office tasks on a regular basis - lifting, sitting, standing, crouching and other repetitive office tasks.
  • Will spend time in the production area and may be required to lift up to 20 pounds.
  • Able to pass a pre-employment drug test and subject to random drug screening.
Work Environment:
  • Regular exposure to dust and noise in the production environment.
  • Warehouse environment temperatures may be influenced by outside temperatures.
