Join our team as a new pioneer in a new world Job Summary: Follows standard operating procedures to ensure that daily MES and SAP operations are functioning in the most efficient and effective manner. Also acts as the IT liaison and provides excellent Communication, Customer Service, Problem Solving, Organizational, and Leadership skills. Job Responsibilities: Respond to ticketing system to provide exceptional customer support for any software or hardware related to MES and ERP systems. Provides first level MES and ERP support and coordinates problem escalation and resolutions to second and third level system support personnel and/or outside support service providers. Assists in evaluating and making recommendations regarding systems and facility requirements to ensure that the MES and ERP supports and facilitates the growth of our manufacturing operations and expanding business needs. Assist in overseeing the planning, design, installation and maintenance of networks, applications, and other IT resources and/or assets. Identifies and recommends opportunities for cost-savings and process improvements. Working knowledge of SQL, .NET, C#, JAVA,. Working knowledge of SQL/Oracle databases. Working knowledge of MES systems. Working knowledge of ERP systems, specifically SAP is a preferred quality. Understanding of PLC’s is desirable. Additional responsibilities as required – this position is subject to change as the needs of the department change. Required Skills and Abilities: Excellent communication, team orientation and presentation skills Proficient computer skills (Microsoft Excel, Word, and Power Point, etc.) Safety and Quality oriented with a solution-oriented mindset Ability to problem solve with planning skills Demonstrate prompt and regular attendance Excellent interpersonal skills with a positive attitude. Education and Experience: Associate degree and 4-6 years related experience- Required. Bachelor’s degree- Preferred. Experienced in Manufacturing Execution Systems- 4+ years Preferred. Experienced in Enterprise Resource Planning system experience- 4+ years Preferred. Experienced in Technology Projects Administration- 2+ years Preferred. Experienced in Systems’ analysis and design. Experienced in Business Process Management. Experienced in the Automotive Industry. Flexibility in work schedule- Day shift Monday-Friday with some after hours and weekend availability.

Physical Requirements: While performing the essential duties of this job, the employee will be required to: sit at a desk for prolonged periods of time and work on a computer; regularly walk, stand, sit, and communicate. Schedule: Example: Monday – Friday 8:00am to 4:30pm with some after hours and weekend availability. Supervisory Responsibilities: Reports to IT manager. No direct reports.
