In this role, you will:

  • Lead the technical design and development of AEM solutions.
  • Collaborate with product owners, solution architects to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Guide and mentor development teams on AEM best practices and standards.
  • Oversee code reviews, ensure code quality, and manage technical debt.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to AEM implementations.
  • Coordinate with other technical leads, architects, and project managers to ensure alignment with overall project goals.
Must-Have Skills:

Adobe AEM Expertise:
  • Extensive experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) 6.x versions, including sites, assets, workflows, and AEM architecture.
  • Proven track record of designing and implementing complex AEM solutions.
Java and Web Technologies:
  • Strong proficiency in Java, Servlets, JSP, and Sling framework.
  • Solid understanding of front-end technologies like HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and related frameworks.
Content Management and Workflow:
  • Deep understanding of content management, digital asset management, and AEM workflows.
  • Experience in designing and developing custom AEM components, templates, and services.
DevOps and CI/CD:
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools and practices, such as Git, Jenkins, Maven, and automated deployment pipelines.
  • Familiarity with cloud-based deployment environments like AWS, Azure, or Adobe Managed Services.
Performance Optimization:
  • Experience with performance tuning, optimization, and scalability of AEM-based applications.
Agile Methodologies:
  • Experience working in product-led Agile/Scrum environments and familiarity with Agile tools like Jira or Confluence.
Problem-Solving and Leadership:
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to lead and mentor a team of developers.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, capable of working with cross-functional teams.
Nice-to-Have Skills:

Experience with Other Adobe Solutions:
  • Familiarity with other Adobe Marketing Cloud products, such as AEP, WebSDK, MobileSDK, Adobe Target, RT-CDP.
UI/UX Design Knowledge:
  • Understanding of UI/UX design principles and experience working with designers to implement visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces.
Search and Personalization:
  • Knowledge of search technologies and personalization strategies within AEM.
What it takes:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in AEM development and architecture.
  • Proven experience in leading technical teams and managing AEM projects from inception to delivery.
