An employee's proficiency level is determined by various technical and non-technical skills.OPERATOR Daily Functions:Run machine or job unassistedCheck part to printMake normal machine adjustmentsChange wheel and tooling as requiredAchieve standard production and qualityPerform operator preventive maintenance and work area and machine cleaningReport down machines to supervisorSET-UP Daily Functions:Perform all operator criteria and capable of properly training othersPerform set-ups per print on existing tools and programsPerform basic machine troubleshooting and preventative maintenance and machine cleaningTECHNICIAN Daily Functions:Perform all set-up operator criteria and capable of properly training othersWrites machine programs for new tools, if CNC workcenter - Anca, Walter, MSO, SMS, Schneeberger, TruTech, FanucHelps to develop and install new processes and methodsTroubleshoots processes and procedures for better methods and corrective actionsUnderstand and communicate the theory and practice of the workcenter processSets the example for others, recognized as the W/C leader or expert, superior performer, problem solverQualificationsSkills and Requirements:Ability to read blue printsAbility to use measuring equipment (micrometers, calipers, indicators, etc.)Basic machine experienceBe able to lift 50 lbsBe able to read and understand EnglishBe able to stand for long periods of time
