Position Description:
The Sr. Demand and Supply Chain Manager is a critical, cross-functional role that focuses on SKU-level forecasting, inventory level management, and coordinates with ocean and air freight as part of the Company’s supply chain. The ideal candidate for this position has exceptional organizational and multi-tasking abilities, an understanding of the importance of demand planning, and the ability to maintain inventory levels for on-time fulfillment.
Primary Responsibilities:
Create, manage, and improve SKU-level demand for multiple e-commerce and brick & mortar retailers to achieve Inventory Turn Metrics
Maintain a relationship with Sales, Marketing, and Finance departments to understand the demand forecasting drivers
Issue purchase orders to the Hong Kong office to align with manufacturing and transportation lead times
Develop and maintain Inventory Turns KPI’s
Develop and update weekly business reviews to report key operational metrics to Sales, Operations, and the leadership team
Facilitate and manage monthly SOP meetings with the Sales and Finance teams
Review excess and closeout styles to advise on discontinued products
Work closely with the eCommerce and Sales team to run key reporting and analyses
Work with the Product team to plan for new products and to meet retailer launch dates
Ensure timelines are met within the limitations of supplier capacity & lead times
Work with the overseas HKG office to arrange ocean and air freight, review rates, determine the need for Air freight, and update internal teams on shipping timelines
Confirm 3PL/Warehouse inventory counts with packing slips/invoices for inventory received
Coordinate with the Operations team to manage inventory availability and produce weekly inventory reports for the Sales Department
Support research, testing, and implementation of new Demand planning software systems
Primary Requirements and Professional Experience:
5-7 + Years of Demand and supply chain planning experience
3-5 + Years NetSuite Experience
Strong analytical skills
Strong knowledge of Excel and experience with other Microsoft Office suite products
Ability to work independently and identify and resolve complex problems
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships both internally and externally
Ability to multi-task and a willingness to step in to get the job done
Excellent oral and written communication skills
